A steel cable can be threaded twice through these aluminum Talurit clamps, allowing you to easily create a loop or similar connection on a steel cable. The clamp is secured by pressing with a press or a special crimping tool. Aluminum is a soft metal. During the crimping process, the aluminum essentially molds around the cable, making it impossible to pull apart. When using a crimping tool, the clamp should be secured at the front.
These ferrules have a general application and are primarily used for finishing steel cables with a loop. This loop can be reinforced with a thimble or profile thimble. They can also be used to extend a cable.
Aluminum wire rope clips are manufactured according to EN 13411-3 for added safety during production and use. The clamps are seamless in construction and match industry-standard dies. Aluminum ferrules are plain.
